About AICTIC • National Confederation
Uniting, Modernizing & Empowering India's Cashew Economy
The All India Cashew Trade & Industry Confederation (AICTIC) represents the collective commercial and policy voice of India’s raw cashew importers, domestic shellers, kernel exporters, machinery innovators, brokers, and maritime logistics partners.
The Institutional Mandate
A Single National Voice for an Essential Agri-Industry
India stands as one of the world's largest processing hubs and consumption markets for cashews. Yet, for decades, regional fragmentation has left processors, traders, and importers navigating disparate state policies, customs bottlenecks, and global origin volatility without a unified national platform.
AICTIC was established as an apex confederation to bridge every node of the value chain. By aligning grassroots processors with international origin exporters the confederation champions equitable trade policy, technological modernization, and domestic market stability.
Through active chapters across key processing and port clusters—including Kollam, Mangaluru, Udupi, Panruti, Palasa, Odisha, Khed, Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Contai, Purba Medinipur, Gujarat—AICTIC provides structured dispute resolution, authentic origin data.

To Engage proactively with the Ministry of Commerce, DGFT, and Finance on rational Minimum Import Price (MIP) enforcement, safeguarding domestic processors, and maintaining duty-free Basic Customs Duty (BCD) on Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN)
Factory Automation & Standards
To Facilitate capital subsidies and technical support for MSME processors to implement sensor-based optical color sorting, automated peeling, and clean-room hygiene standards across all traditional and emerging processing clusters.
Port Logistics & Clearance Desk
To Coordinate with Port Trusts, Customs House Agents (CHAs), and Plant Quarantine desks across gateway ports (Vizag, Tuticorin, Mangalore, Mundra) to streamline cargo dwell times and mitigate container detention and demurrage costs.
Domestic Market & Promotion
Expanding Indian cashew consumption into mainstream health, confectionery, and everyday snacking beyond festive periods, while championing standardized grading benchmarks to build long-term consumer trust for Indian-processed kernels.
Be a Part of India's National Cashew Trade Body
Whether you operate a processing unit for Cashew kernels or CNSL, import raw cashew nuts, trade or broker Cashew kernels or RCN, manufacture processing equipment, or provide port logistics—membership in AICTIC grants direct access to national representations and trade networks.
